Culture of Contribution
For HR, people and business leaders to consider the concept of contribution, casing a different light on how they think about themselves, their people and their role

This article looks at the value of contribution as an organising concept for a high-performance culture, extending the familiar notion of engagement into something more centred on the mutually beneficial relationship between employee and organization. It then goes beyond the walls of the organization to consider, albeit in a speculative way, the intersection of the concept of contribution with the antiracism protests, in an environment dominated by COVID. These are quite unique circumstances which allow us a rare glimpse of the possibility of a better future for our world.
