With over 25 years of leadership experience across a diverse range of industries, from manufacturing and civil construction to fast-moving consumer goods, John knows the importance of developing a positive workplace culture. He’s experienced good, bad, productive, and destructive environments – and understands how vital management and leadership are in enhancing and nurturing the culture for the rest of the team.

With a genuine passion for people and a drive to see real value added to organisations, John founded The Leader Shed to share his knowledge around building great workplace culture and enhancing leadership capability.

He lives in Hawkes Bay, where he enjoys the endless opportunities to get outdoors with surfing, fishing, hunting, and following his two young boys around to their various sport activities.
