One of Karen’s favorite sayings is “if you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always got.” She knows that life only changes when you do. With over 25 years of experience, Karen has helped clients from small to medium-sized businesses, government departments, tertiary learning institutions, and consulting companies, both in New Zealand and overseas.

Karen’s expert facilitation is well-grounded in the realities of business leadership and management with previous experience owning a training and development company, a temping agency, and a commercial cleaning company. Having previously worked as a teacher for the Bachelor of Applied Management at NorthTec, Karen is thrilled to be back in the business of learning and development.

Her adult years have been shared between New Zealand and Samoa with her husband. Now permanently in New Zealand, Karen misses swimming in the warm turquoise lagoon of her favorite Matareva beach. However, she’s discovering the beauty of Northland more than compensates!
