What do you need to unlearn?

To get to a better place, you have to do some unlearning – you have to let go of some of the things you’ve always known.

You need to let go of the idea that working harder is going to make your business more successful, along with working harder means working longer hours. Instead, you need to learn that working fewer hours on a small number of important things will take you further and faster. And to do that, you need to get clear about where your efforts will get greatest return.

You need to let go of the idea that you can have lifestyle you want once you’ve got the business working better. That’s a dead end street. You need to learn that putting a priority on time for your health and your family is how you will get the business working at the level you know it’s capable of.

You need to let go of the idea that you can get your life and business to the level of your aspiration with your current customers, offerings and staff. You need to learn the art of decluttering and the science of selectivity. And for that, you will need to identify where you need to free yourself from the shackles of history.

There’s a wonderful Buddhist phrase that I’ve used a lot in my life “When I let go of who I am I become who might be”.

One of our most powerful ways to serve is helping people identify who and what they want to become. Our Clarity session is the start point for all our adventures.

How are you planning to work out what’s possible in your life and business?
