[EP 68] Rocket Lab's Head of People and Culture, Estelle Curd, on Being an Authentic Leader

Estelle Curd started her HR career as HR advisor at New Zealand Steel in 2012, and has since then held a number of senior management positions, before joining Rocket Lab in September 2019 as head of people and culture.

This week, Ryan was joined by Estelle as she inspires us with her top three insights on what makes a great people leader. She opens up with how to always stay authentic to yourself and shares how she has done this, not only throughout her career, but in even more challenging environments – like the Miss Universe competition! And gives us some great tips on how to be a genuine people leader and build trust with your employees.
Estelle also gives us some insight on what it’s like being the HR leader to some of the most intelligent people in New Zealand and the challenges that can bring, along with the goals Rocket Lab have for their future.
